This year was our first year spending Christmas without extended family. We decided it would be a good idea to avoid holiday traffic and illnesses, especially with a newborn. Our friends, the Jones' invited us to their house for a Christmas Eve party. Good food, fun games, great company, and Emerson running around with a Nerf gun shooting anything that moved - yeah, you're 3 buddy...you don't need a gun now (or ever)! We came home, watched the new LDS Christmas video, "A Gift to the World" (the boys loved it), took their pictures by our precious tree, and sent them to bed before Santa arrived.
